2247 Bandra(T) - H. Nizamuddin Yuva AC Superfast Express

Yuva Express (2247 DN 2248 UP) is Inaugurated on 15th Jan 2010 from Bandra Terminal Station.

I went station (BRC) to see the first sight of the Yuva Express. The train were about to reach the Platform number 3. I saw many railways employees were still gathering in the platform. All the employees gather for celebrating for first Yuva express.

At 21:49 hr the Yuva express halt in the platform. WCAM 2P 21877 were assigned to take Yuva Express from Bandra to Vadodara. WCAM 29 21877 were decorated with Flowers and the board indicating its first inauguration. All Coaches were also decorated with the flowers.
Themes of the whole coaches were combination of Yellow and Green colors. No Doubt it is Looking Nice in such colors combination Whole train have 8 Coaches started from J1 ,J2…J7,J8 .Each Coach have AC Sitting which the capacity of 108 seats per coach . At that time none of the Coaches were fully occupied. I observed that only 40 % of Seats occupied on the basis of Charts posted at every coaches.

One things this train doesn’t have Pantry car. How passengers in the train can arrange for foods stuff while train have less stoppage throughout the Journey.

All the Railways employees were hailing the name of Smt Mamta Banerjee for inauguration of such train. They Distributing the sweet to every one but Unfortunately I didn’t get single piece |:- ( | .

Then WAP7 GZB 30248 was assigned for taking Yuva Express for its destinations Station H NIZAMUDDIN. This WAP Loco also decorated with Flower and Board .All these flower and Boards taken out from the WCAM 2P.
